Western exercise = hard work, sweat, discipline (no pain, no
gain)
Ayurvedic medicine exercise = zone states, finding your dance,
balancing your doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and
developing higher state of consciousness and growth to
enlightenment.
While zone or flow states (peak experiences) are random, once in
a lifetime events for most people, in Ayurveda
these are the very purpose of exercise and can be deliberately
cultivated with higher wisdom.
